Why TV aqre expensive

That is vey sweet domain name extension but I wonder why that is so expensive for the registration?

That is ccTLD domain name belongs to the Tuvalu. So they are the holders and they decided for that price for this domain name.

no idea why it’s expensive but i have a .tv domain name…grabbed it because the name is a generic.

That is CCTLD domain name. That is Tuvalu. And that is in any case not generic name
