Social.com,the largest reported domain name sale of 2011 has been sold in late June for $2,6 Million .However no one knew who the buyer was .
According to Fusible.com ,SalesForce.com is the mysterious buyer of Social.com .Even though no official statements were made,it seems that SalesForce.com is the real buyer of the largest reported domain sale pf 2011,Social.com .
The sale of Social.com was co-brokered by NameQuiver, Marksmen, Inc.’s domain sales arm in partnership with Moniker .Social.com had an opening bid of $5 million.The high reserve wasn’t met.However,a bid of $2.5 million did come in at one point ,before the auction ended.It seems that the seller is Scott Carter .
