The National Arbitration Forum announced that a ruling has been issued in favor of Warner Bros regarding rights to the Internet domain name Hogwarts.com. All started when Warner Bros submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum ,asserting rights over the domain name.Warner Bros owns a registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the "Hogwarts" mark.Therefore,they contended that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.Moreover,they contended that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith ."Complainant further argues that Respondent is using the domain name to intentionally attract Internet users to its directory website that contains third-party hyperlinks that may be of interest to Complainant’s customers. The Panel finds that Respondent’s use of the disputed domain name to intentionally attract Internet users to its website for financial gain is further evidence of bad faith registration and use ."The Panel ordered the disputed domain name be transferred from the respondent to the complainant.
