United States authorities seized more than 130 domain names in the largest anti-piracy campaign to date,named "Operation in Our Sites" . All the domain names resolved to websites that are believed to sell or share pirated content,according to Torrent Freak.All the seized websites have the following message : " "This domain name has been seized by ICE — Homeland Security Investigations, pursuant to a seizure warrant issued by a United States District Court."About this time last year,US authorities seized 82 websites for the same reasons.The websites sold counterfeit goods,such as handbags,Walt Disney movies ,golf clubs and many other items .
Reeboksite.com,Shopsbag.com,OfficialPumaShop.com and VeryCheapJerseys.com are few of the domain names seized by US authorities .
