Born and raised in Europe, Roland graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, USA, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and International Business. Fluent in four languages, he is now the Owner and Chief Editor of DomainNews.com.
In prior endeavors, he specialized in enterprise level storage sales, for medium and large data centers, working for Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett Packard, IBM and StorageTek.
With his passion for technology, and desire to offer affordable IT services, he started Discount PC Service in 2002. During that process, he became involved with the domain name industry and as a result he launched DomainNews.com in 2005. DomainNews has grown into the premier online resource for global domain industry news, and became his full time passion.
His goal is to bring together pertinent domain industry news from around the world, into an easy to read daily updated format. In his ongoing effort to improve, Roland is assembling a team of knowledgeable industry experts to enhance the content quality of DomainNews; while establishing a comprehensive network of industry contacts.
