The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced recently that the domain name .қаз ("kaz"), encoded as "xn--80ao21a" was delegated to Kazakhstan . After ICANN reviewed the request from the Association of IT companies of Kazakhstan,they determined that the approval of the new domain would be in the interest of the local and global Internet communities.About 10 million people all around the world are speaking the Kazakh language.
