22nd April 2008 – The Landrush auction process has just started for .Asia domain names and any customers, who have applied for a .Asia domain going through the auction, can now bid from the AsiaDNS website. Any domain name that has been ordered during the Landrush phase might have entered the "open auction" process. If this is the case, the order will stay pending until the auction is over. In some other cases, for example when nobody has placed a bid during the auction, the domain might become available again after it has passed the auction phase. Regarding the pending DotAsia Domains that have not gone through the auction yet, they will be scheduled by the registry in the following weeks. The applicants will be informed by email.
