The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced that there are 207 successful registrants in the online new generic Top Level Domain Application System. Even though there are 207 TLD Application,this number does not necessarily represents the total number of applications.Each registrant can apply for up to 50 new generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD). The registration deadline is now less than four weeks away.ICANN started accpeting applications for new gTLDs on January 12,2012.Moreover,ICANN announced that it will not reveal who the applicants are and who has applied for which domain name until early May,2012.
