IPO.com was the top selling domain name in the week to 26 September according to Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported domain name sales, selling for $500,000 through Sedo. IPO.com sold for more than six times the amount of the next biggest sale of the week, AirTickets.com, which sold for $80,000, also through Sedo. Sedo accounted for ten of the top 20 sales of the week, a figure that stood up well when considering the .CO landrush auctions accounted for nine of the top 20 sales, which also meant .CO domains accounted for nine of the top 20 sales.
