The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced that it has received over 100 applications for the CEO position. ICANN’s HR partner,Odgers Berndtson selected 27 potential candidates and only 16 of them were interviewed by the company’s board.ICANN said that the selected candidates will then have to undergo some face to face interviews .The search process might be complete in mid-April .
Rod Beckstrom is currently ICANN CEO.He will leave the organization when his contract will expire,in July 2012 .He has a yearly salary of $750,000.
