Google , the American public corporation, earning revenue from advertising related to its Internet search, e-mail, online mapping and many others has been awarded the domain name googlel.com by an arbitration panel at National Arbitration Forum.
Google’s complaint stated that the domain name is confusingly similar to its "Google" mark .Moreover,it seems that the respondent registered and used in bad faith the domain name . "Complainant offers evidence that Respondent’s domain name redirects Internet users to the domain name which resolves to a website containing Respondent’s politically charged blog. The Panel finds that Respondent’s use of the disputed domain name to increase traffic to Respondent’s politically charged blog website is evidence of bad faith registration and use"
Because the respondent failed to submit a response in this case, and because Google managed to demonstrate all the elements needed, the Panel decided the disputed domain name ,googlel.com , to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant .
