Elizabeth Taylor Trust filed a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum against the owner of LizTaylor.XXX,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name .
Elizabeth Taylor Trust owns many trademark registrations for the "Elizabeth Taylor" mark .Moreover,in January 2012,the company filed three US trademark applications for the "Liz Taylor" mark .These applications were filled for cosmetics and gragrances ,jewelry and watches and clothing footwear .
Elizabeth Taylor was also knows as Liz Taylor all over the world.Therefore,it is unllikely the responded in this case didn’t hear about her .
The company should expect the National Arbitration Forum order the domain name to be transferred,considering the company owns the "Liz Taylor" mark .
The National Arbitration Forum will examine if the domain name is confusingly similar to the trademarked name.Moreover,it will examine if the owner of the disputed domain name has rights over it and if the domain is being used in bad faith.LizTaylor.xxx will be passed over to Elizabeth Taylor Trust if it falls under all three of these stipulations.
The case is still pending compliance checks with the National Arbitration Forum .
