There are some rules you should follow to choose a domain name for your website .Take for example a business based in Romania.A .ro domain name is the best for your business.However,if you’re trading globally,you should definitely choose a .com domain name .

Your domain name should have no more than 63 characters (not including the extension)
Only alphanumeric characters and the dash (-) sign are being accepted
Most domain names should have a minimum of 3 characters
Domain names can not begin or end with the Dash (-) sign
