Bulgaria is trying for the third time to apply for registering ".бг" Internet domain suffix .ICANN rejected Bulgaria’s second attempt in March 2010 . According to Bulgaria’s newly appointed Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, Valeri Borisov,Bulgaria still has opportunities to register the cyrilic domain name ,even though it will try the longer procedure .
When ICANN rejected Bulgaria’s application,the organization said that there are slim chances to approve their application.The reason for the rejection is that Bulgaria’s suffix is to similar with Brazil’s domain name , .br .
