A well known anti-virus solution provider,BKAV, has recently announced that they have acquired the BKAV.com domain name from Frank Schilling’s Name Administration for $100,000 . BKAV general director,Nguyen Tu Quang said that he is well aware that in order to be in the top 10 leading anti-virus companies worldwide,they have to have a .com domain name.Even though many many people considered 2.3 billion dong ( $100,000) a really exorbitant price to pay ,BKAV General Director thinks the price is relatively cheap .“This proves to be the biggest sum of money a Vietnamese company has to pay for a domain name so far,” said Nguyen Tu Quang.Moreover,he added that Blav started being interested in Bkav.com domain name two year ago.However,the actual negotiation began two months ago .
BKAV.com domain name was owned by Name Administration until October,2011 .
