Apple files a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center,asserting legal rights over seven iPhone – related domain names,such as iPhone4S.com ,iPhoneCam4S.com and Porn4iPhones.com . The seven domain names are : iphonecamforce.com,iphonecam4s.com,iphoneporn4s.com,iphonesex4s.com,iphonexxxforce.comiphone4s.com and porn4iphones.com .Apple owns many trademark registrations for the iPhone mark.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain names are confusingly similar to its trademark .According to whois records,iPhone4S.com was registered back in August 2008.
Even though Apple launched iPhone 4S for several weeks now,it still doesn’t own iPhone4S.com domain name.Perhaps,the company was just being very careful not to draw attention to its multimedia devices names when they decided not to go after iPhone4S.com domain name
