DNS BE has recently released its 2009 annual report .At the end of 2009 ,the total number of .be domain names was 978,000,representing a net increase of 14 per cent . The figures apper in DNS BE’s annual report for 2009,which as published at www.dns.be .There were 232,747 new domain names registrations in 2009.That means an increase of 4,4 per cent compared with 2008 ..be extension remained the 11th Eurpean ccTLD at a short distance behind Denmark .Moreover,the majority of .be domain names are being managed by the 18 largest registrars.The first ten registrars have almost 40 per cent of all domain names in their portfolios .
