ICANN ( Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) has finally revealed two weeks ago the full list of new gTLDs.The list revealed that Amazon has filed for 76 new gTLDs .

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) ,revealed that it has received a total of 1930 new gTLD applications after refunds. 1846 out of the 1930 applications are "standard" applications while 84 are designated as "community-based".
The full list of new gTLDs also revealed that Google,Amazon and Demand Media applied for the sames gTLD : .WOW . Only four USA cities applied for their own top-level domain names : The Boston Globe Newspaper Company applied for .Boston ,City of New York applied for .NYC,Top Level domain Holdings applied for .Miami and Dot Vegas Inc. has applied for .Vegas.
Moreover, 116 applications are IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) and 66 have designated themselves as geographic name applications.

.SHOP – 10 applications
