Poker.it is to be auctioned on Friday February 22nd in Rome, Italy. The auction will take place at the offices of Public Notary Igor Genghini, according to a report in gaming portal Jamma.it.
Antonio Vallese, Managing Director of Aequiti, the company that is organizing the auction said, ”We have adopted a procedure that enables us to give the highest level of transparency to the auction, for the benefit of the participants and of the seller”. Aequiti is an Italian consulting firm involved with the gaming industry for many years.The Poker.it domain name is expected to be in great demand, not only because it is the most immediate name that an Italian poker player will look for, but also because it will constitute an asset that could generate significant advertising revenues.
