DotAsia are continuing to auction .asia domain names where there have been more than one applicant. This is the first time such a measure has been used sort out who should get the domain name during the startup of a global top level domain registry.
Leading the charge to date is ace.asia that sold for US$20,501. Following is tyco.asia ($7,600), spotlight.asia ($5,700), edge.asia ($5,400) and parliament.asia ($5,200).
