India’s top-level domain `.in’ could soon be logging-out such malicious attempts. MARINA DEL REY, CA – The International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers’ (ICANN) Board of Directors approved the posting for public comment of an amendment proposed by mTLD to the .MOBI Registry Agreement. Michele Neylon, who runs run one of the largest registrars/resellers of .ie domains, writes that Ireland needs personal domain names and there should be a couple of second level domains available in the .ie name space. He writes that if there “were a couple of separate ’spaces’ then the perception of ‘privilege’ could be diluted without damaging the name space’s main root.”
